Melitta World Harvest Coffee, Estate Coffee, Kauai, 10-Ounce Bags (Pack of 3)

Customer Review: Excellent Coffee!
This coffee has an awesome aroma when it is brewing in the morning, and I just can't wait to have my first cup! For those of you who like a smooth but distinctive coffee taste, you will like this blend. I gave one bag as a gift to a friend who drinks only Srarbucks, and she said it was as good or better than her normal brand. I would like it if Kauai came in packets of 6 as opposed to 3, which would make ordering easier.

N.O. Brew - French Vanilla 64 oz. New Orleans Style Fresh Cold-Dripped Iced Coffee

N.O. BrewTM is the country's first, fresh cold-dripped bottled iced coffee. Made with N.O. Brew's unique blend of Arabica beans and our proprietary cold-drip process, N.O. Brew contains no artificial flavors or preservatives. Each 64 oz. bottle makes up to 24 fresh iced coffees at home. N.O. Brew is the best thing to happen to coffee since cream and sugar.
Customer Review: Fantastic!
This is smooth coffee concentrate, with no bitterness or acidic qualities. It makes a great iced coffee when mixed with milk or cream. Unsweetened, so you can use the sweetener of your choice. I mix it 2 to 1 (two milk to one coffee), sweeten and add ice. It is really convenient. (I used to cold-brew my own iced coffee. whatta mess. Soggy grounds everywhere.) Also inexpensive, about 50 cents for a small cup, or $1 for a whopping big glass of it, like I make. It is also delicious drizzled over vanilla ice cream, and in alcoholic coffee drinks, made with kahula or bailey's. The only tiny downside is that it shoud be kept refrigerated. Low cal, low cost, and BIG mellow sweet flavor.
Customer Review: I didnt like it
. I really believe personally that it was not good at all blah

Black & Decker 12-Cup Coffeemaker

  • 12-Cup Spacemaker Coffee Maker
  • Perfect Pour Glass Carafe
  • Programmable Digital Clock
  • Sneak-a-Cup feature
  • LCD Display
  • Auto-Off
  • Removable Reservoir
    Customer Review: Bad design
My wife and I are replacing this unit because as others state, the basket does not stay closed reliably. We have had a number of episodes where it pops open by itself. While I like the idea of a removable water bin (so you can fill up the coffeemaker without using the pot itself to pour in water) the bin is difficult to disengage from the unit. Thus, it has been a constant struggle. Makes good coffee, but I'd tell anyone to stay away from this particular model.
    Customer Review: Poor Quality
I would not recommend this product. 1) the mounting bracket installs with the screw going up into the cabinet 2) product completely died within the first 6 months of use. One day it just would not turn on.

Melitta One:One Universal Fit Java Pods, Go Hazelnuts, Hazelnut Flavored Coffee, 18-Count Box (Pack of 4)

    Customer Review: Love it!
I love my Go Hazelnut coffee. I can't find it in the store anymore so have been buying it online. It's my favorite!
Customer Review: Does not fit well in Senseos
This coffee tastes fine, but should not be advertised as "universal fit." You have to be extremely careful about using them in a Senseo machine because the pods are too round and plump for the Senseo podholder. If you're not careful about arranging it exactly perfectly (which takes up the time that using a pod coffeemaker is supposed to be saving), then the machine will make a big mess. I've tried to do this and sometimes the coffee still spills out of the machine. It takes precious time away from my morning routine. The taste of the coffee is average, but there are better pods out there for Senseo users.

    Customer Review: Not worth it...
I have had two of these coffeemakers over the last year, and I have to agree with the other reviewers. There are good features to this coffeemaker - freshly brewed coffee tastes very good, it's nice to keep it hot inside the coffeemaker, and it looks nice on your counter. HOWEVER, there are some major problems here. I haven't had "steam problems" mentioned by another reviewer, but the condensation from the lid definitely runs down the back of the coffeemaker (and right onto the cord) when you open it to clean it. The biggest problem we've had, however, is that if we make anything more than 8 cups of coffee the grounds overflow and go into the container that holds the coffee, then plug up the spout where the coffee is poured out into your cup. Not only does this leave grounds in your coffee, but occasionally it clogs the spout making it impossible to shut, so coffee just pours out - all over your counters, floor, and in our case, into the drawers under the counter too. First we tried a replacement filter, then Cuisinart sent us an entirely new unit. Same problem each time. On the positive side, Cuisinart's customer service has been very good, and they are again replacing our unit - this time with a different model.
Customer Review: Don't waste your money
We have now buried our THIRD Cuisinart 12-cup Coffeemaker. As the other reviewer said, they just stop working. The merchant has given replacements to this point, but we are actually tired of taking the item back, and don't want another bad machine. It has gotten almost embarrassing. Also, this coffeemaker can't be kept under cupboards or near curtains due to the steam. When you open the back to fill, the condensation runs down the machine and onto the countertop. It is hard to fill, hard to see where you are pouring when filling. The Auto-On function was very handy, and it did make fairly good coffee when it worked, it just won't keep working.

Cuisinart GTF-4 Gold Tone Filter for Cuisinart 4-cup Coffeemakers, Gold/Black

Cuisinart Gold Tone 4-Cup Replacement Filter made specifically for Cuisinart 4-cup coffeemakers. Easy to use and easy to clean, eliminate the need for costly paper filters. For use with models DCC-450, TTG-500.
    Customer Review: Great filter
I've been using this daily for at least six months. Works great, don't have to buy filters!
Customer Review: if you're going green this is a good product
I bought this product because I was suggested it to replace the paper filters. It can be used over and over again. You don't get that bleach in you from having the filters bleached. The brown filters work the same but you'll be spending more money on the filters that you throw away any way so why not try this.

Mr. Coffee DR4MC 4-Cup Coffeemaker, White

Mr. Coffee 4 cup coffee maker - white
Customer Review: You will hate yourself in the morning.
You will hate yourself in the morning if you buy this Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. IT LEAKS - HORRIBLY! One full cup of water runs out of the base of the coffeemaker onto your counter top and down the front of the cabinet. I purchased two of these coffeemakers, one for my son and one for me. They both leaked. I threw mine in the trash and replaced it with a Cuisinart. Save yourself some grief - don't buy this coffeemaker.
    Customer Review: Just Don't
I am a modest coffee drinker. I drink 4 cups a day, and I require little of a coffeemaker other than an on/off button. My last perfectly servicable Mr. Coffee 4-cup machine bit the dust, so I replaced it with this one, because at least I could re-use the carafe. Well, the internal design guys have been at the guts of this one. First, you can no longer remove, rinse and/or wipe down the internal chamber condensation from your last pot. You have to insert a papertowel into the new internal resevoir, scraping your hand on some internal parts that probably weren't meant to be messed with. They have likewise redesigned the basket, and it barely fits the standard coffee filters anymore, without crinkling and leaving grounds in your pot, and, hey, the internal water resevoir, where it has no business backwashing anyway. And god forbid you should try to make 5 cups in your 4-cup machine, for which there is plenty of room in the carafe, and in the resevoir, and which works well in many other 4-cup machines. My coffee maker lives on top of my microwave on a little shelf, by the toaster oven, because I have no counterspace for it. I have to lift it out some 10 inches, fill it up, insert the basket, and put it back on the microwave to process. I have mastered the art of moving a fully water loaded machine the little bit required. This one sloshes water everywhere. From the top of the machine? No! There's an engineered HOLE in the back of the reservoir to keep you from overfilling the chamber that last little bit. Water fountains everywhere from the center back part of the machine. I suppose I could put a piece of duct tape over it, but who wants duct tape in their coffee. Good God. I will be replacing my machine shortly, then gleefully smashing my carafes on the driveway.

    Customer Review: dripping pot
I returned my Mr. Coffee after 2 days because I couldn't pour a cup of coffee from this pot design without it srteaming down the front of the pot and all over everything. I was pretty sure it wasn't just me since I have no problem with my old Bunn pot, but still felt better when I saw another reviewer with the same complaint. Like that reviewer, I can't believe Mr Coffee doesn't know it is a flawed design and already have corrected it.
Customer Review: Better Than the More Expensive Ones We've Had
Only had this coffeemaker a few days, but have yet to find anything we DON'T like about it. Unlike the other reviewer, we do not have any problem with the filters folding over and causing a mess. It's very easy to pour, with no drips or spills; and it's easy to get a cup out before it's done brewing. Also, we find that it brews, and keeps, the coffee hot, unlike the more expensive Braun this replaced. We like the way the carafe "locks into place" on the burner. All in all, we think this was definitely a good purchase and would recommend it.

    Cuisinart DCC-2000 Coffee-on-Demand 12-cup Programmable Coffeemaker

Makes up to 12 cups / No carafe necessary / Fully programmable / Double-wall Reservoir / Removable coffee reservoir and drip tray / Countdown coffee gauge
    Customer Review: Just ok....
First of all, this makes a decent cup of coffee - nothing spectacular, but ok. But there are too many great machines on the market to make this one special. I find no problem filling it - just pull my retractable faucet over, and done. Now, the reasons I don't like it: First of all - it's huge! It barely fits under my cabinets. I'm sure some think that the design is cool - part retro, part futuristic, but I think it's just a big, chunky eyesore. Next, it is impossible to fill a tall mug, travel mug, etc. directly from the machine. And last, don't be fooled into thinking that this is some sort of insulated container that keeps your coffee hot, like a thermal carafe. No, your coffee is being kept warm because it is in contact with a built-in hot plate, sitting in the bottom of your coffee reservoir. So, it is still being "cooked" for hours - just not inside a glass carafe - therefore, after a few hours, you just have hot cooked coffee, not coffee that has been kept warm by virtue of the container - so, it is still strong and bitter, just like a traditional coffee pot. I'll go back to my cuisinart grind and brew with a thermal carafe. This is just not the right brewer for me.
    Customer Review: Cleaning issue
After one year, we noticed black flakes coming out of the internal resevoir where the coffee is kept. We cleaned and soaked the coffee resevoir in vinegar, soap, hot water, etc., numerous times, but it is impossible to clean the internal float mechanism where coffee oils and burnt coffee collect. In the trash.

Krups Black with Stainless Steel 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal CarafeWith FREE Durgol Decalcifier

Combining appealing and distinctive design with a powerful, fully programmable brewing system, this 1100-watt coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups of coffee quickly and efficiently. Along with its bright, blue, illuminated LCD display, the unit's control panel offers simple push-button functions including "on/off", a fully programmable clock, a programmable timer/auto-on from one to five hours, and an aroma switch that can be set to maximize flavor for one to three cups when less coffee is desired. With a no-drip spout and a generous handle for easy pouring, the unit's double-wall stainless-steel vacuum carafe maintains flavor and temperature longer. A popular pause-and-serve function allows for pouring a cup midbrew, and an audible signal indicates when brewing is complete. The appliance includes a soft-eject swing-out filter holder for easily adding ground coffee, as well as a magnified water-level indicator for high visibility. The machine's 60-ounce water reservoir provides a built-in water filtration system that removes chlorine and lime scale build-up to ensure better tasting coffee and longer machine life, while its automatic electronic de-scaling indicator measures brew time and calculates when de-scaling is necessary. The coffeemaker measures 10-1/2 by 8-1/2 by 13-3/4 inches and carries a one-year warranty.
Customer Review: Great coffee for only six months
If you buy this coffee maker, be sure to keep the receipt. We got six months of great coffee out of it (that's why I gave it two stars), but this morning it won't make coffee. It just flashes "8888" and the out of water symbol. Yes, we've emptied it several times, unplugged it to reset, and tried different assorted fixes. Buy at your own risk! When we purchased this unit last summer there were lots of reviews here on it. Our unit is a FMF5.

Bodum Chambord 8-Cup Press with Bonus Pavina Thermal Glasses

    Customer Review: Very poor packaging
I agree thoroughly with the other reviewers who commented on how poorly packed the thermal glasses are. One glass was broken in the first shipment, and one was shattered in the replacement order. Since I hadn't yet returned the first shipment, you can guess what I did. This was a convenient solution and I don't regret going against my initial judgment, ordering this combo of French press and glasses. The press is sturdy and, for my taste, makes the best cup of coffee.
Customer Review: As good as all the hype
I bought this for myslef after doing some research for a gift. I was somewhat skeptical about this great coffee everyone was talking about. I drank the koolaid an have become a believer!! The coffee is better and for the money you can't go wrong with this choice. Just buy it already.

Senseo HD7832 Supreme Single-Serve Gourmet Coffeemaker with LCD Display, Silver

Designed by Philips, one of the world's largest electronics companies, the SENSEO Coffee Machine brings great taste - in both design and coffee - to your kitchen. The patented system uses perfectly balanced proportions of coffee and water. Mild pressure and a special spray head produce an optimally balanced coffee filtering process.
Customer Review: Good, BUT, don't wouldn't waste money on SUPREME model
Purchased 7832 model. Good looking/space saver coffee maker. Makes a pretty good tasting cup too. But not worth money for deluxe model. I only make 2 cups a day maybe 3 on weekends. At Week 2 the LCD lights broke. I'm very careful with water reservoir but water has leaked around back of unit 5 times (only owned it about 1.5 months). Something may be wrong with the functionality/manufacturing of this unit. Also needs to make a bigger cup of coffee- that adjustable spout is a joke- it only fits mugs. It cant even fit a small "to go" thermos cup for the commute. My beef is with the company Senseo. I called them to explain situation and they agreed to send a new unit. However, the one they originally sent was the wrong model. I'm still waiting on back ordered deluxe model. Then I'll need to send back both coffee makers. Kind of a nightmare. I hate being inconvenienced! I'll probably just order a Keurig next time- they have more variety of coffee too.
    Customer Review: Great machine
After having tried Senseo HD7832 Supreme Single-Serve Gourmet Coffeemaker with LCD Display, Silver and both the Breville and Keurig, Supreme models, I am thrilled to have finally found a great one cup coffeemaker. The coffee pods are cheaper than the K cups, but not only that, you can insert 2 pods for stronger or a larger cup of coffee. With the K cups for the other machines, you use the same amount of grounds for the small to xlarge cup, and it's just too weak. I never thought that made sense. The Senseo also takes up less counter space and it works faster than advertised. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!

    Customer Review: Great Coffeemaker
I am very happy with this product. It is easy to program and makes great coffee.
    Customer Review: Beat expectations
After reading the reviews for this product I decided to try this machine. I own multiple Cuisinart products and felt safe based on the comments made by others as well as most of my own experience with the brand - it was a good choice. I am sipping my first cup as I type this, it is the first machine I have owned (of many) that actually delivers a hot cup of coffee using the 1-4 cup setting. This maker replaced a Cuisinart 4 cup maker with an uninsulated ?aluminum/steel? carafe which burned all coffee made in it if left for more than a few minutes after brewing stopped - no problems with that in this model, temp has remained consistent even after sitting for a while on the warming plate. Setting the clock was simple, consisting of holding the hour button until it flashes, scrolling through the hours until you find the correct one, doing the same with the minutes, then waiting a few seconds for it to set itself - very easy. Filling the unit with water is not difficult, does not seem better or worse than filling any other maker. Any concerns about the water filter can be tempered by the cost of purchasing coffee from a specialty store. Through Amazon, you can buy a 2-pack for around $6.00 with a recommended replacement rate of 60 days or 60 pots (which can, of course, be stretched depending on water quality). In comparison to what I have spent in the past buying lattes, etc., this is a savings and the quality of the brew means I don't miss the other. I do not often use timer settings or have coffee waiting for me as I wake up, but I will use some of the other functions and like the fact that the machine will indicate when it needs to be cleaned. The controls are easy to use and I like being able to simply press a button to start brewing instead of a toggle switch that requires holding the machine with one hand while pressing the button with the other (not that I am lazy, it is just simpler with the button) I bought this machine in part because, though I am the only coffee drinker in our house, when friends or family visit, I like the option of being able to make larger pots. I also liked the value and would buy another machine in the future regardless of whether it is on sale or not. I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to others.

Melitta Classic Decaffeinated Ground Coffee, 11.5-Ounce Cans (Pack of 4)

    Customer Review: Decaf Melitta
Melitta coffee is great. I couldn't find it in the major grocery stores in my area and was pleased to find it here. Both the regular and decaf are excellent. The decaf doesn't taste like decaf, even my die hard coffee drinking friends agree. I used to drink only regular, now I'm a Melittiack.
    Customer Review: One Fabulous Coffee!
I've been on the lookout for a decaf coffee to use with my Melitta One Cup Cone. I tried the grocery store and was drinking one particular brand, but I wanted to try out something else. So then I thought why not try Melitta's own brand? I did and it is so good. It has a smooth flavour, clean taste and no bitter or sour afternotes. The grind is very fine and is much more suited for use with the One Cup Cone than the other brand of coffee I was using. However, one oddity: the cans of coffee didn't have an expiry date, just a code number. I called Melitta who interpreted the code as October 18 2007 and told me I had 18 months from the date of manufacture to drink all four cans. Fortunately, that won't be very difficult.
